Spring has sprung, and what better way to embrace the season’s joy than through music? Whether you’re a music enthusiast or just looking for creative ways to engage your family, here is a collection of some of my most popular spring music activities.

🎧 **Busy Kids Love Music Podcast Episode:** Dive into the world of springtime songs with the Busy Kids Love Music podcast. In this episode, explore the beauty of Vivaldi’s “Spring,” Beethoven’s “Sonata No. 5 ‘Spring'”, and Robert Schumann’s “Symphony No. 1 in B-flat Major”. If you’re new to my podcast, they’re a simple and fun way to incorporate musical learning into your routine. Episodes are bite-sized, kid-friendly and filled with all kinds of interesting facts and stories.

🎨 **Printable Spring Music Enrichment Activity:** Spark creativity with my printable spring music enrichment activity. This fun resource includes Easter egg name-the-note practice and spring-themed listening art. It’s a delightful blend of music education and seasonal fun.

🥚 **Spring-Inspired Worksheets and Games:** Put those plastic Easter eggs to good use with these engaging worksheets and games designed to review intervals. My goal as a piano teacher is to take students past note-only reading, which is one of the reasons why I introduce intervals, bridges, and then chords as part of my program in the very early levels. Intervals are the first building block I introduce after note names, because if a student can identify an interval upon sight, rather than having to identify the notes making up an interval, she can become a more capable sight-reader and fluent musician. This worksheet bundle is a fun way to build that interval identification proficiency!

🎹 **Host a Spring Piano Recital:** Celebrate your student’s progress and boost their confidence by hosting a spring piano recital. I provide everything you need, from fill-in-the-blank invitations to a program and certificate of achievement.
