We are featuring an awesome Busy Kids student, Lexi, today! Let me tell you ALL the cool things about Lexi.
She has been playing piano for around 5 years, previously taking lessons at her school. But she’s finding that Busy Kids Do Piano is extra helpful to her progress. Lexi’s mom says, “We love how it is in a video format which allows us to watch and repeat a lesson whenever we want. We like that flexibility to adjust the lessons to our schedules and holiday plans.”
YEP, this is why we’ve developed BKDP – to make music learning a more convenient enrichment to your student’s life.
When it comes to piano music, Lexi loves pop songs and familiar songs from movies most. She jumps on the Busy Kids website several times a week to work through her modules. She says, “I like how there are actual lessons and also separate bonus lessons to play and learn from.” Her little brother Sean is also learning to play piano now. What a good role model you are for him, Lexi!
Their family’s motivation for introducing piano learning boils down to this sentiment from their mom, “I think music is very important to help the brain grow and foster creativity. It also helps them learn to coordinate left and right hand playing, which is different from other instruments.” We couldn’t agree more!
Back to Lexi. This cool girl loves rollerblading, reading, basketball, folding origami, and doing crafts. Same here, Lexi! If only there were more time in the day for crafts.
Our last fun fact about Lexi is that she’d love to one day own a rabbit, but for now, she’ll enjoy her toy bunnies.
For all kids considering the Busy Kids Do Piano program, here’s Lexi’s advice: “Give it a try and see how it works for you. You can watch the videos whenever you like, and it won’t mess up your schedule.”
Lexi, keep up the great work!
